One-Time & Short-Term Volunteer Opportunities
These volunteer opportunities provide as-available and short-term ways for you to use your gifts, talents, and time to help us feed people mind, body, and spirit. You can volunteer every time, sometimes, or just one-time. On-site training is available for all these opportunities.
Medium-Term Volunteer Opportunities
These medium-term opportunities include seasonal, multi-month, or periodic multi-day opportunities. These opportunities to share your time, talents, and resources if you're looking to get more deeply involved in ministry at Silver Spring UMC.
Long-Term Volunteer Opportunities
These opportunities include a variety of committees and Ministry Teams tasked with coordinating ministry areas and congregational administration. They range from commitments of one to three years. Volunteers should anticipate contributing at least five (5) hours of time monthly. Training and on-boarding is provided.
