Daniel Colbert

Daniel Colbert first joined SSUMC in 2010. He is a lifelong United Methodist originally from Pensacola, Florida. He served as a delegate from the Baltimore-Washington Annual Conference to the 2020/2024 UMC General Conference. At SSUMC, he has served with the music ministry team, the Reconciling and LGBTQIA+ justice teams, and the 4 Corners property committee. In his day job, he is an attorney for the US Department of Labor protecting employee benefits. His favorite role is being father to his two young children, Jane and Charlie.
